Originally this was one of many images for a game I was working on. The idea took root and turned out giving me inspiration to create something surreal with it instead. The path ahead is eternal, but its swamped. The floor symbolizes the duality of nature, and the water is meant to be walked on, symbolizing a magical journey adjacent to reality.
