This one was originally supposed to be a mandala, but then I turned it on its side and realized it had potential to be something totally different. Perhaps a flower? Maybe a deep well? I created two different versions of this design. This one I used a lot of gold to bring great contrast to the dark blue. The gold stood out, so I kept it. I wasn't quite finished with this design, however.
