Upon arriving in this place-- Xavier was pissed.

He was cold. He was supposed to return home, to Haven, expecting endless forests, with villages nestled deep within the trees. Many years have passed since he'd been home. Things change, understandably. This drastically, though?

No, the culture that built this place were NOT the original inhabitants of Haven. On his travels, he had seen other temples like this. This place looked and felt more like a Natu temple. If it was, and this actually was Haven, he concluded that his home world must have been compromised in his centuries-long absence.

The Natu were interstellar warriors and had conquered many habitable worlds. (Why not this one?) Known for their propensity for violence, high technology, stone-cutting ability, and wicked experimentation, many species were frightened by their abilities. They were the genetic precursor to humans that lived on Earth and were notoriously evil.

If they came to Haven, they clearly conquered his people, The darkness beckoned to him, asking to have ancient secrets answered. Xavier unsheathed his sword and strolled off into the impending darkness that was already beginning to surround him. He just may have a score to settle while he was there.
