This cold place is constantly covered in a veil of light fog. The day and night here don't last long enough for any sort of temperature fluctuation to truly take place. It's just always to damnable cold that no one ever wants to work here.

Mining lithium, helium 3, and methane from the massive glaciers that make up this world isn't easy. Anyone from Alpha Centauri could, as the guys are trained there and sent off through the waypoints to distant worlds in search of resources humanity can exploit. For the regular everyday tourist, not so much.
